Google your dreams.

Here is an actual thing I did today: Use Google to see if the set of vague “facts” I had in my head (a mother and daughter pair of elephants from St. Louis Zoo were recently killed on highway 40 after escaping their enclosures) were indeed true or a dream I had last night. Verdict: dream. Though in the course of attempting to verify, Google did let me know that two of the STLZ elephants have herpes!

New Woody Allen movie coming! I will, of course, go see it. I do every time. Even just seeing the damned W.A. classic titles font makes me nostalgically happy. From the Apple trailer page for this film: “An eccentric New Yorker played by Larry David abandons his upper class life to lead a more bohemian existence. He meets a young girl from the south and her family and no two people seem to get along in the entanglements that follow. This is a comedy also starring Ed Begley Jr., Patricia Clarkson, Conleth Hill, Michael McKean, Evan Rachel Wood, and a number of other amusing types.”
